TreesCharlotte Raintree TREE DAY

14 November 2020

Per a presentation at our January 2020 annual meeting, the non-profit TreesCharlotte and Raintree HOA have arranged for a volunteer event to plant dozens of trees in some of our common areas.

TreesCharlotte does the hard part. They dig the holes, provide the trees, dirt and mulch. But we will need as many volunteers as possible to plant the trees. Adults and kids (supervised with their parent or guardian) can help and we
will practice social distancing outdoors. Estimated commitment might be an hour or as long as you can!

TreesCharlotte will also be giving away FREE trees you can plant in your yard. Tentatively two per household and these will be distributed from the YMCA off of Kuykendall Road, near Raintree. More details will be posted on Nextdoor and sent out by email soon!

Coming Soon

In October, Raintree HOA owners should look for a letter requesting nominees to run for our HOA Board and ARC elections in January 2021.

Any Raintree HOA homeowner, including owners in our townhome areas, of 'good standing' (no delinquencies or fines or violations) may run. Owners may also submit any requests for proposals to be considered for general membership vote. Due date for nominees and proposals will be November 1st, 2020.
