Shopping

The Village of Raintree is at the heart of some of Charlotte’s favoite shopping areas, and within a 5-mile radius you will find a variety of grocery, apparel and gift stores along with a wide selection of dining options.

On the North side, at the corner of Providence Road and Highway 51, The Arboretum which is easily accessible by bike or on foot, features a mix of over 80 national and local retailers and many popular dining options.

5 minutes down Providence Road, just after I-485, you’ll find Waverley and Rea Farms, two of South Charlotte’s premier retail areas, which offer organic groceries, fitness, hotels, dining and retail.

Just West of Raintree, The Shops at Piper Glen on Rea Road, features Trader Joe’s, veterinary services and specialty gift and dining options.

Further South on Rea Road, you’ll find even more shopping and dining options at the StoneCrest and Blakeney Shopping Centers.

Raintree Country Club

The beautiful Raintree Country Club is HOA-owned; however, separately managed. The Club is a central highlight to the character of our neighborhood.

Many homes included in the Village of Raintree qualify for waived initiation fees and limited club dues increases, which offers a unique advantage to our homeowers! The course is known for some of the best greens in Charlotte and reasonable rates in all membership categories. The Clubhouse has an appealing contemporary look reminiscent of coastal resorts such as Sea Pines, Hilton Head and Kiawah Island. RCC also offers dining and banquet services. There are many recreational programs for all ages. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this great amenity within walking distance from home!

More information about the club can be found at www.raintreecountryclub.org
