Architectural Review Committee (ARC)

Each homeowners association (HOA), sub-association, or committee within the Village of Raintree (VOR) has its own Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs) and Bylaws. Copies of your HOA’s CC&Rs are available on the VOR website at www.villageofraintree.com, along with HOA Board and ARC contact information. A separate ARC submission guideline may also be available for your community.

The ARC meets once a month to review submitted Architectural Change Request Forms. Please allow sufficient time for the review process and a response to your submission. DO NOT START ANY WORK UNTIL APPROVED. Unapproved work may be subject to HOA board actions, including fines and liens. The ARC reserves the right to request additional information to clarify your request. Each architectural change request must be submitted separately. The RHOA office cannot make decisions but can guide you to the appropriate contacts.

Please give a detailed description of the proposed improvements or modifications, including the following information where applicable:

• Location

• Size / Dimensions

• Color (include swatch samples)

• Contractor

• Material type

• Plans/Drawings

• Roof Design

• Exterior Finish

• Utilities

• Copy of property survey, with proposed changes/additions shown

• Types of plants, quantities, addition or removal of existing or new

planting bed, edge treatment.

Don’t forget to submit photos of the area you would

like to improve / modify.

I acknowledge that the content of this document accurately describes the scope of work to be performed. Any deviation from the approved original plans must be resubmitted for approval. All construction shall be completed within 12 months, and all debris shall be promptly removed. Approvals are valid for 12 months.

I acknowledge that I have read and understand the Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs) applicable to my property and that the proposed changes comply with those requirements. I understand that approval from the ARC does not constitute approval from any local building or zoning authority, and I am solely responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or inspections required by city, county, or state authorities.
